Volunteers come from all walks of life. 90 minutes a week can make a dramatic difference in a child's life. Children reading at or above grade level by the end of 3^rd grade are much more likely to achieve personal and academic success.

 

ASKT collaborates with elementary schools to implement a tutoring model that reinforces literacy skills taught in school. ASKT recruits community volunteers, preparing and training them to be effective literacy tutors.

 

ASKT relies on the generosity of the community to provide services to children in need. Opportunities are available for corporate involvement.
