About ASKT

All-Star Kids Tutoring, Inc. was founded in 1996 by a group of community-minded individuals who wanted to do something to help at risk youth in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. ASKT is a 501(c)3 non-profit that works closely with elementary schools serving low-income neighborhoods.

The vision of ASKT is to break the cycle of illiteracy so all children have an equal opportunity to succeed in education and in life.

Mission Statement:

To teach children the basic reading skills necessary to have a successful educational experience and an equal opportunity to succeed in life by providing a professionally managed one-on-one volunteer tutoring program staffed with well trained caring individuals who help each child achieve their full reading potential.
