Desert Mountain Hosts Holiday Book Drive
Desert Mountain High School, home of the wolves, hosted a holiday book drive to help kids in need. These high schoolers brought in 2,000 books which will provide 2nd and 3rd graders falling behind in reading with a bigger home library! ASKT is very thankful for Desert Mountain's overwhelming generosity!
ASKT Recipient of Wal-Mart Santa Kid Program

Since the Wal-Mart Santa Kid program began in 2005, 24 Wal-Mart Santa Kids have purchased $24,000 worth of toys, clothes, and other items for local children. Each year, Wal-mart selects six local nonproft organizations that serve children to become the recepients of this program. This year, thankfully ASKT was one of the chosen organizations to receive a $1,000 shopping spree. WIth the help of Kaylee, a 5th grade Santa Kid with a will to shop, All-Star received above and beyond what we expected. Kaylee knew how to stretch a dollar and helped us supply kids with much needed school supplies, literacy games, books and much more. Thank you Wal-Mart for allowing us to be apart of this great event! See Pictures.
